Remember that if you come in tomorrow morning you’re doing the Challenge workout. Body testing starts at 8am and it’ first come first served. The workout will start right when you’re done and continue until everyone has gone through. Then we xpect to see all your shining faces back here at 7pm for our Potluck. This Sunday there is a great event going on that most of you don’t know about. If you get the chance to head up to Richmond, TJ’s Gym has been hosting an anual Nor-Cal 40′s competition. Some of you have been asking so I thought I would address our new scheduler that you find here on our website. On our new calendar you may have noticed a “Sign Up” button. This is more for new members but gives you the option to log in to your account and to sign up ahead of time for class. This is NOT required. It is just a convenience and it helps us out knowing who’s coming to class. It has nothing to do with limiting class sizes or requiring you to choose your classes ahead of time.

The Challenge is almost over!!! Just a couple days left. How are you going to finish? We’ve sure had some very dedicated people this year, and some of the results are amazing! It takes a leap sometimes to make a change, and hopefully this will not just be a one time thing, but a lifestyle you can stick to for a very long time.
Have you checked our Events page? We’ve got some fun plans Saturday, including the potluck that night. We will be starting with the body testing at 8am. This is first come first served and will flow through to the workout all morning. If you need a make up time you can come make up the workout on Friday at 5:30am or 5:30pm. And the body testing alternative time is Thursday at 5-6pm.

Speaking of dedication… Most of you know that Katie has been coming in for quite some time working on Muscle Ups. She spent the time doing drill after drill, and failing time after time! But she was determined and it paid off. Last week she got not one, but three right on her first attempt of the day. Work hard and do things right and it pays off….weird. Yes there’s still lots of room for improvement and range of motion, which will come with more hard work. So who will be the next girl with a Muscle Up?
